The Disney Parks Blog has had some interesting updates this week. So, I thought I’d give a roundup of the “techie” things they’ve posted recently. Here goes:
- Making of Magic Kingdom Park Tilt-Shift Video. Thomas Smith, Social Media Director of Disney Parks, discussed the creation of this very fun video with David Roark, manager of creative photography for Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group. If you haven’t seen the video yet, why not?
- ‘Faraway Look’ – Using Pinhole Cameras. Gene Duncan, a photographer at the Walt Disney World Resort, shares the technique for creating his “first and only pinhole photo to date.”
- Hands, Eyes Convey Emotions For Disney’s Audio-Animatronics Technology. I’ll have to cover this more later, but Thomas Smith talked about Disney’s amazing new Autonomatronics. He also covered this in a previous post on September 28th.
That’s all for now, but stay tuned to DisTECH and the Disney Parks Blog for more Disney tech news!
